1. Introduction

These terms govern the relationship between you as the customer (“Customer“) and Talkit AS "Talkit" , regarding the purchase and use of the Talkit service.

By registering, logging in, or using the service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these terms.

2. The Service

Talkit offers a cloud-based solution for automatic note-taking and real-time transcription, developed specifically for healthcare professionals.

The solution can be accessed via web browser or mobile, and requires BankID login. For PC users, Talkit may provide microphones as additional equipment.

3. Subscription and Prices

  • • All prices exclude VAT
  • • Payment is made via card
  • • For annual contracts with binding period, the full amount is invoiced in advance

4. Termination

  • • Subscriptions without a binding period may be terminated with one month's notice, effective from the first day of the following month
  • • Subscriptions with a binding period may be terminated at the end of the contract period
  • • Termination must be sent in writing to hei@talkit.no

5. Right of Withdrawal

For customers who are consumers (including sole proprietorships), the Right of Withdrawal Act applies. You may cancel the purchase within 14 days after ordering by sending an email to hei@talkit.no.

If the service is activated before the withdrawal period expires, you must pay for the period during which the service was available.

6. Delivery

Access to the Talkit service is granted immediately after the order is completed and login via BankID. Any physical equipment (microphones) is normally shipped within 5 business days.

7. Customer's Responsibility

  • • The Customer is responsible for using the service in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including the Health Personnel Act and GDPR
  • • The Customer is the data controller for all personal data processed through Talkit
  • • User accounts and login information must be kept confidential

8. Talkit's Responsibility

  • • Talkit acts as a data processor under GDPR
  • • Talkit delivers the service “as is“ and disclaims liability for indirect losses
  • • In the event of downtime or errors, Talkit will take reasonable measures to restore normal operations as quickly as possible

9. Complaints

Any errors or deficiencies in the service must be reported to support@talkit.no within a reasonable time.

Talkit will attempt to correct errors without undue delay.

10. Changes to the Terms

Talkit may update the terms with 30 days' notice. New terms will be published on www.talkit.no.

11. Disputes and Governing Law

The agreement is governed by Norwegian law. Disputes shall be attempted resolved amicably, and if unsuccessful, the case shall be decided by Oslo District Court.
