Talkit takes privacy seriously. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal data.

2. Data Controller

Talkit AS, Erich Mogensøns vei 38, 0594 OSLO, is the data controller for personal data related to our users. For patient data, we act as a data processor.

3. What Data We Process

Customer Data

Name, contact information, payment information

Usage Data

IP address, browser, device information

Health Data

Only processed in real time, not stored permanently

4. Purpose

Provide and operate the Talkit service
Secure transcription and record keeping
Customer service and support
Billing

5. Legal Basis

Processing is based on:

GDPR art. 6 (1) b – Contract
GDPR art. 9 (2) h – Healthcare provision
Consent where required

6. Storage Period

Audio recordings and summaries: Automatically deleted after 24 hours

Other data: Stored as long as necessary for the purpose or required by law

7. Security

We use encryption, access control, and secure data storage with Microsoft Azure (Agreement under process).

8. Rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, and restriction of processing. Send your request to hei@talkit.no.
